In my heart my faith dies not, this I gladly say
For I will not allow a closed mind to restrict its growing
Therefore it is true that what I believe today
May be only in part what I will believe tomorrow, there’s no way of knowing
You see, there is an ongoing and growing conversation
Between me and my lord, ongoing and valued information forever flowing
For on the day I feel I have come to complete and unadulterated insight
My faith will have lost its authenticity to become a basis of disillusion
It will not be my source of pure joy and delight
But instead will have become a source of fabrication
Lord I am learning
