Across his tomb fairies leap
Cain is watching in his sleep
Through souless eyes cold and deep
With dreams that make angels weep.
He smiles because he is amused
The the whole world is confused
Then he feels alone and used
Having been the one accused.
He rises up in smoke and mist
In middle June to romp and frisk
And like a snake to wind and twist
Around the tree that Adam kissed.
Just before the break of dawn
He floats across the hill alone
And slays his brother with a stone
A trail of blood follows home.
The bloody fruit on which he'd fed
Slaps a mark across his head
And crowns him king among the dead
The terror of it goes un-said.
Like a worn out physco-path
Gifted in a certain craft
He thinks in terms of hard-core math
In division of God's wrath.
Things are never what they seem
When the motives are unclean
Neon tears of red and green
Fall from his eyes into the stream
That flows into the hearts and minds
Connected to the tie that binds
And seeps across the electric lines
Into the realm of mystic signs.
Thank you for taking the time to read and cvomment on my work!
