Dancing in the Kitchen
She has no idea what she has done,
After all, she is only six,
But hand in hand, as they walk away,
There is so much life and energy,
Passing between them both.
For the past days lived, a bit over a year,
Sickness wracked my sister’s bones,
We almost lost her twice.
But this sweet child drew rainbow pictures,
And gifts of love and luck,
From her faith-filled believing heart.
And now, my sister, in remission for over a year,
Walks hand in hand with her grand neice, swinging along,
They laugh and play and feed off each other,
Dancing in the kitchen, reveling in life.
Of love and joy and the best medicine in the world!!
Wishing continues health and happiness
To you and your family!!
Peace love and light...Morning star
