I was in my other world, far beyond imagine and there I sat over rumpled grass, atop on gingham linen My dress is subtle, white lace in lavender, with a picnic placed with glee . . . Under a Weeping Willow, pray, a carving on my tree . . .
"Wait for me . . . , "it said out loud . . . the bark, in gutted routs for years I felt, I took me here, to sit and wait him out . . . I picture him, rigid, tall and thin, with eyes beyond my gaze . . . Sun tint skin with a pearly grin, a man, without a doubt!
He’d lift me high, and twirl me about, ‘till I was dizzy, mad in love He’d kiss me softly, on down, on one. . . with all he ever, kneed "Will you marry me, you, agnizing sweet, who, in knowing, I would come "Will you marry me, my princess dear...I’ve waited just as long!"
One by one, under a blue sky and sun Clear skies of cleansing, thoughts The one I had, just right before all that.. I was thinking. . . damn, I should of thought some other thoughts!
‘Cuz my husband, now, just came in the room and read this poem, at lest... He said it wasn’t right of me to think, such loftiness! "I’m your picnic, I’m your prince, your just trying to piss me off... Get that head from out those clouds, or I carve, "Don’t wait for me, I’m Gone. . . !"
