They see us as we are, as we were, and as we will be.
They see and know all that was and will be.
They see through us to our souls.
They see the darkness that is in everyone.
That darkness feeds them giving them a place to dwell.
They stay in the shadows for it provides,
endless shelter.
Shelter from the light of life.
Life that which they will never know.
They sit waiting.
Waiting for us.
Waiting, watching.
They are the ever seeing eyes in the shadows.
The eyes of darkness.
The eyes of evil.
And they are watching us.
