Why would you offer a drowning woman a lifeline then turn around and walk away never again to look back? Why would you, after learning she survived, criticize her and cause her to wish to God she had died? The lifeline she needed was friendship plain and simple but after raising her hopes just enough to matter Why would you -- why did you -- cause her so much damage? Why?
