How in the world could we be anyone but who we are, to attempt anything else would be not only to live a lie but to make life much more difficult than it needs to be. The discovery of self is the only way to find our real strengths and to find peace in this lifetime. Excellent words you have chosen for this page, Eileen.

AMEN dear one! Especially to your favorite!

"If I truly become who I am, then who I am will become me" poses an interesting conundrum that requires faith to find its fruition.

"If I become who I am" sounds almost like it is "our" personal responsibility to become what the Creator, in His infinite foreknowledge of all things, has predestined us to become from the beginning to bring about a higher plan than we could never fathom in our finite pandering to understand.
Finding its fullfillment in the fact that we, in the faithful pursuit of who we are supposed to become, but aren't, were obedient to something greater than ourselves, striving in faith and expectation to become that person we were all predestined to become.

A sweet wind is beginning to blow in this den.

Heavy, deep, serious and introspective are these lines of searching your soul for your core. Good for you, we should all do more of that, maybe we would even like what we found, and hopefully it would NOT be the plastic-bananna-rock-and-roll empty shell we have become. Very good.
