Eileen, perfectly crafted poem. I wish I had you skill at writing eloquent poetry.

My only question to you is when has a Creator ever stopped an ocean's undertow, or stopped a volcano's flow; when have the tides or waves ever stopped? The only thing a creator, if such exists, could be credited for is creating those things. Controlling them is an entirely different matter. As far as I can tell, no one seems to be at the helm. ~ Sara

Nobody can even try to create what God's already done; to mess with His Handiwork is just ASKING for trouble! Like yesterday: saw a rainbow in the clouds before an approaching storm; it was magnificent! And then the sunset afterwards: Goodness!! It was beyond stunning!! One of the prettiest sunsets I've ever seen in my LIFE!! Very well penned, Eileen; brava!

Philosophical criteria of the universe. It is told by a Baptist missionary who signed on to a Baptist Mission in Haiti, who uncovered small clay icons by poking the soil with a stick. He uncovered an icon with a face that had a grimace and bulging eyes known to the locals as yeux de la terre ("eyes of the earth"). It represented a deity. The missionary knocked on church doors, saying the "Catholics had the best beds, but the Baptists had the best food." And so Who Makes The Moonglow is in sacred and spiritual alignment with the Creole proverb, Deyo mon ge mon. ("Beyond the mountains are more mountains.") Contemplative quill, Eileen...be well.
