A person that never drinks
always always thinks,
why do other people drink?.
I mean the stuff stinks
Whiskey, Bourbon and Gin
they drink, fight and punch each other on the chin,
get in the car and drive?
Now that is a real naughty, naughty sin.
Why don't they get together and realize,
to 'Stop' would be a better surprise.
They call me the 7-up kid,
but I'm never drunk like Sid.
I like to stay clear in the head
so I'll stick to 7-up instead,
with Ice.
Amen, I am with you...I don't like the smell of any of the stuff, I don't drink either, I dabbled when I was young as most do, but that stopped when I realized that I was going to be a mother and have had no desire since then. I drink from the Lord's cup and it is usually overflowing with His love and joy, no need for the immitation when you've got the genuine. I like the message that your write sends, there are too many on the roads drinking, innocent people usually suffer their consequences. I agree Stop would be a better surprize. My poem that I posted several weeks ago or longer "Still Feeling the Pain" pretty much sums up my opinion on the subject. I just don't like it! Great write, as you can see this is a subject that I am very passionate about. Glad I stopped by, enjoyed it much!
