Hey! I'm Indivisible But I'm not invisible
I'm only -- just LITTLE !
When Parents scream and fight
I'm caught right --smack --dab in the middle!
I get so scared and full of fright
Could a heart break hurt a little tike?
Ain't I too LITTLE to suffer?
Don't know how to Lie to one
To Please the other!
Is Battle for Custody
A Martial Art?
Why am I split in two and torn apart?
Why do they shoot arrows
through my LITTLE heart?
Was this divorce caused by LITTLE me?
They treat each other mean and cruelly
Then, they tell me stuff -- privately
They confide in me - Like I'm an Adult
Is this really all my fault?
What will I grow up to be
Creepy feelings come over LITTLE me
I think it's called lack of confidence and INSECURITY
An introvert -- instilled in me
What am I to believe?
Am I the one -- the evil seed?
Shut your mouth -- don't talk back!
I'm confused which way to act!
Why oh Why -
When tempers fly - And life is not in accord
LITTLE me becomes the target
Used as their punching board!
Since the Divorce I get tossed around
Mom bakes more cookies
Dad acts like a Circus clown
They say bad things about each other
Why can't I love MY Father AND also MY Mother?
If I choose -- I loose
I am being so abused!
Oh, and Holidays,
I get double stuff
they fuss over me
can't give me enough!
I get tossed from one to the other
I just want to get my gifts run, hide -- take cover
Hide like a bandit --
don't they know I just can't stand it!
Too LITTLE to know -- just what to do
how do I split myself in two?
How much can I pretend
ME for HER --
some other
ME for HIM?
Court Orders tell me where to stay
Then, when I visit - I get Ignored
Then I get Bored
"Go Out and Play" or they just 'say,
GET LOST !
Hey, I'm not invisible
I am INDIVISIBLE
Just love LITTLE me!
Dear God Up Above:
I am so Grateful for Your Precious Love
Please Keep my Guardian Angel Close
I'm surrounded by scary nightmares, noises and ghosts.
(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
But then, in many cases divorce is the only solution and sometimes it also means a more peaceful environment and a safer life for some children. There are so many different cases, aren't there?
Thank you Karen for making us think.

"If I have to...Then I may as well be."
This one made me so teary eyed...
It sents out such a extream powerful message...
It made me think back
to when i was going
through my divorce from
my youngest sons father.
Billy my son would come
home after a visit with his dad...
I could tell there was something deeply bothering him...
Finally, he would open up to me...and asked,
why does my dad say bad things about you?
I asked my daddy why does he always make me cry?
As he was telling me this...his tears were
just pouring...
Parents better wake up
and realize the negative
inpact this takes on a childs little heart...
I hope that many people
read this...and really
think about what they are doing to their innocent child.
This was heartwretching.
Beautiful and very powerful...
Excellent job.
Hugs,
Trixie
