Hold My Hand and The Womb Of Christmas

by David Lester Young — Read all 1,103 poems by David Lester Young

I seen a mother hold her child by the hand, and as they sat, she scooted closer. I thought of that bond that starts at birth and end in the last breathe of the mother passing. Therein lay the words that sing to your heartstrings.

Come sing a mother's heartbeat lifeline lullaby tune, and Hold My Hand, amid a musical duet symphony blessing the mother, daughter lifelong love harmony.

Promised myself, I or someone, would write the poem lylics to "The Womb Of Christmas" that today, more than ever, we need Chistmas, to have the Womb at peace. Sorry, if I failed you, but at least, this poet tried, as other never came to Christmas, being a Miracle.

Now Eye to Eye, can RIP me Ears to the TAPS of Christmas tense senses resting in Past, Present and Future pieces of peace be with you. It is not a song, but darn it is lyrical poetry.

In my crazy mind, I hear musical flutes, magical harps, string instuments tuned to Christmas imagination, and an orchestra filled with Angelic Angels Miracle voices, but this my Christmas Dream, as I hibernate the holidays away.

Santa, there is no Christmas love spell gifts anymore, just give me two lumps of coal, so I can heat up my heart 'n soul.

Hold My Hand

She lays there still
And holds my hand
As she passes on
The tears running down
My eyes, as I close her eyes

Mom held my hand
As I started my journey
And I had to let her go
When it was time

I held my child close
As I told her about Grandma
Mom, I can not hold her hand
No longer going to the store
As we walked hand in hand

Mom held my hand
As I started my journey
And I had to let her go
When it was time

So with time’s funeral procession
A mother holds their child crying
As grandmothers keep passing on
From Generation to Generation

Mom, please hold my hand
As we journey time together
And when it is time, I will let go
And close your eyes - with a kiss.

The Womb Of Christmas

Beating womb, Be praised amid, Amazing Grace
How magical, thee sound beats, pulsating conception
Rhythms that brings on birth’s love melody reception
Singing a Divine chorus, blessed in pure harmony.

Hallelujah, (To Be) the Blessed Womb of Christmas
Come sing aloud, the magical tune, of crystal conception
Wherein love, revolves exhalations, revolving the World
Wherein the womb, music vibrations dew create Miracles
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, feel the Womb of Christmas within
Shout out loud, Hallelujah.

Put your ear and hear the dynamic music pulsate full of life
Hear the heart drum, pound out loud, The Womb of Christmas
Wherein voices reach that Amazing Grace heavenly sound pitch
Where Love beats pulsate the world, amid words in saving grace.

Come one, come all, yea faithful, let us join our hands
And raise them up, with exhalations within our heart beats
Hear yea the “All I Want For Christmas” is the words in love
Where that melody, if only for one day, the world sings Hallelujah.

Hallelujah, (To Be) the Blessed Womb of Christmas
Come sing aloud, our magical tune, of crystal conception
Wherein love, revolves exhalations, revolving the World
Wherein the womb, music vibrations, dew create Miracles
Hallelujah, Hallelujah, feel the Womb of Christmas within
Shout out loud, Hallelujah,
Blessed Be Our World at Peace.

It is so good to be able to be at her side when your mother passes. When my mother passed last year, I was unable to be at her side, but she was under hospice care and I know she left peacefully, perhaps remembering the last time she saw me in 2011 and the last time she talked to me on her TTY phone in 2017.

Holding hands is much better than memories holding mother and son together.

This reads like song lyrics and for very sentimental reasons. It is well-expressed.

I have just lost a friend who was a cousin to my late husband. She was a single mother who had lived with her son for all of her life. Your poem made me think about what her son may be going through while living on his own now. Nothing is ever going to be the same without his mom around.
