As another week slips into history
I think of you, your spirit, so strong
Your multicolored serpentine love
that winds itself around my heart
and chokes away the cold years
You are...incomparable, My Bold Poet
You study me with frenzied eyes
and undress all my halfhearted purity
Inflamed with your evolving lust
Fire of your mysterious orbs searing skin
and incinerating every inhibition
And I? I still light your shadows as before
with dancing flames of passion
atop melting candles of surrender
In darkness do your dreams rise and swell
when you clasp eternity in your arms
and your unasked questions slip
into the depths of my unspoken answers?
Come fall with me into the gutters of pleasure
Drunk on love, another week besotted
with the fine, aged wine of “Us”

wow...La belle I am in awe of such beauty as this-lovely words
This is a beautiful poem, the voice easy with itself - i loved this line
'Come fall with me into the gutters of pleasure'. Is there a song with your writes? "Besame Mucho" happens to be the last song in a 20 step singing recovery programme for me! If i can go now and listen to it, i am finally cured!! Latino or Latina - 'may the force be with you...'!:o) Good poem La Belle, Nicky x
"...melting candles of surrender..." and we can be drunk from love kisses and unspoken answers.
Yes, Bésame mucho, como si fuera la ultima vez...

When two poets combine and blend their hearts out flow of love wonderful words must flow and entertain those who read and welcome the feel of passion unleashed. This is great writing my dear...love it.
Oh Baby Girl! These Damn Poetry Men are gonna be the death of us! How they can make love to our minds and cause fireworks, ever damn time and have us pantin fur more! LOVE YOU! Sissy

... beautiful "other worldliness" to this, Belle. You have sustained the mood and emotion in this characterisation so well.
In darkness do your dreams rise and swell

and your unasked questions slip
into the depths of my unspoken answers?
I am somewhat obsessed by the movie, City Of Angels, and this has all the mystique of the Seth/Maggie relationship. And yet, even between the two differing "beings", the oneness of essence and spirit cannot separate them. This is the kind of intensity of love and relationship your poem makes me think of here. Love the nakedness in this. Bless you, Kate xx
A young widow joins her aunt’s house-restoration project in the wilderness, determined to take a stand for independence, but two men have different plans for her—and so does God.
