she had a hidden animal nature
and a wild streak that ran
through the foundation of her soul
to the apex of her consciousness
she loved summer night sounds
and bold night moves
the cool feel of dewed grass
beneath her naked back
and a sensual evening breeze
kissing her bare hot breasts
she wanted to make love
at noon in a wildflower meadow
and ride a fast fierce stallion
at midnight near the courthouse steps
she wanted to make a memory
on that rock ledge three thousand feet
above the mediocre valley
where luminous eyes of night creatures
stared out from frosted bushes
at the steam rising from human flesh
she was a wild one, a child of nature
with no shame of the charms
and all the erotic secret wiles
god gave woman to please man
she would conquer the ferocious beast
within flesh and heart of her lover
but only a man wilder than her
could ever hope to possess a nymph
only the most heroic warrior
could match the passion of the valkyrie
A seductive edge that left me pondering the deeper meaning of this poem. To me it spoke of the irresistible need for spontaneity, and living in the moment.
Dear poetess could it be the other way around that God created man to please the woman? if I am not totally wrong it was Tristan which were the one to please Isolde which the puritanic gang of the Earth is flat of that epoch was convinced that God had created women for the pleasure of men.
The reality is that I prefer a Valkyrie expecting to be pleased by me, not the other way around. The blood is boiling with passion!

Beautiful writing sweet lady, love that picture...Hugsssssss
La Belle, a formidable woman and lover described wonderfully; from a man's point of view a bit too hot to handle, or is that just me in my advanced years?

Oh boy, makes me wish I was much younger again. To have the ability to play, frolic as I once did through the golden fields and sea shores. So beautiful...
I love this one, and can almost see the movie that it could inspire, at the very least their is enought inspiration in this for a novel...
great stuff

Had no idea what I was getting myself into by the title, but what a ravishing write. Like I said, no one can write passion like you and I say it again with a red face. No One! Love, Bonnie
