with voice, eyes and fingertips
tell you what I’m thinking of
press lips softly against lips
and after I have whispered
secret words we don’t say aloud
will you let me love you
or will you be too proud?
will your cold pride turn me away
to walk the dark night alone
or darling will you let me stay?
when breath flees, life is done
the chance to know my touch
will again be lost and gone
so let me whisper to you again
as in days of old, back when
we had no pride, we had no fear
warm breath of love shared
drew souls and bodies near
for love endures in memory
confess, do you remember me?
and can you now hope to resist
the sweet persuasion of my kiss?

The longing, anticipation, and passion in your words make this poem an amazing romantic piece! As always you leave your readers feeling the heat of your passion.
Sweet memories leave tender, forever-blushing skin and the fragrant smouldering flame of easily-rekindled desires lingers wherever there has been the searing of a true fire. How can anyone forget such intimacy that is indellibly, eternally embedded in spirit, flesh and bone?
