it’s magic when you touch me
even in those places
where erotic pleasure is not
usually craved or sensed


just one tender stroke of a finger
or your lips brushing mine
like sheer wings of a hummingbird
against the waiting flower


I’m breathless with anticipation
of the next touch, next kiss
imagining the power of our passion
thrill of our intimate ecstasy


when your tongue has tasted
all that belongs to you
