Shines the Moon as did once in Winter
A long . . .
Long time ago

Poem Artwork

Shines the Moon as did once in Winter

A long...

Long time ago

Never since have I loved another

As did my heart love you

I look up to the night in envy

The stars staring back at me

I still envision your eyes

Shining back at me

Clever be... this Winter night

The brisk cold breeze... it blows

Caressing me as did your lips

A long...

Long time ago

I think I will walk a while

Before... this Winter's Moon

My fur to keep me cuddly

Like your arms around me... use to do

Memories of a long, long time ago can sure pull at one's heartstrings! Funny how those long, long time ago moments are manifested in dreams, and can feel so real!

A bitter-sweet write!
