What do I know now?
That I did not know before?
Seas vastness remains.


Seas are much like life,
They toss and turn in turmoil,
Sand and sea remain


Sand crabs move quickly
Waves rush in, waves sweep outward,
Seagulls sit and wait.

I like the way you ponder the vastness of the sea in this Haiku chain. There is truth in your simile. Like the sea, our lives are tossed and turned without warning. Sometimes it's a struggle to stay afloat...while the "Seagulls sit and wait."

White empty shells on a beach, like bones in the desert after the souls are gone.
Amazing picture, both ways, by the words and the camera.
