Two dreamers, we stand at the shore
of an ocean created by our hearts
hands touching
though a thousand miles separates us

Two dreamers, we smile at the sun
and the salt spray on our faces
hearts soaring
at the mystery of the emotion between us

Two dreamers, we stare at the stars
in the heavens we share in our minds
words spoken
and so many yet unsaid that hide in the mist

Two dreamers, we journey through life
trying to connect with each other
souls searching
and finding a secret place to be happy

Two dreamers, who never imagined
that in the craziness of life we are
two strangers
entwined regardless of distance and circumstance

Two dreamers, that is who we are
what will the world hold for us
spirits joining
against odds and judgment to venture forward
