When the twilight falls That’s when I recall The sunshine in your eyes Against a sky of red You’re inside my head I forget about the lies Seems I always knew Of other men and you So it comes as no surprise Though it hurts me so I can’t let go So I guess I’ll compromise Having part of you Is nothing knew Your perfection to my eyes When the dawn breaks in And the gentle wind Draws its hand across my face Like the gentle touch I love so much And my heart begins to race But I turn to find Its all in my mind Cause your gone without a trace As the pain sets in I’m alone again Guess I’m just a hopeless case Longing for the touch That I need so much And the heat of our embrace Copyright – Michael R.
