from wind frizzy hair
the guys just in t-shirts, no evening – wear.

At a Gold Coasts’ harbor
in a thirty foot boat
with this rowdy bunch, a wonder we stayed afloat.

Drinking beer out of cans
and no war discussions
just a good time without repercussion

A lady from Britain
three guys from Brazil
three American cowboys who came for the thrill.

An Australian captain
and a Canuck
me as a German, I was there for good luck.

So what does it stand for
this portrait of faces,
with ten different people from six different places.

Our work and our sport
is what got us united
in friendship we parted, that gets me excited.

‘Cause as long as one's heart
is not made of granite
it will be easy to make friends on this planet.

So listen to me,
politicians and religious obsessed
to have peace in this world is a simple quest.

Make a new friend
and hold ‘em very dear
and once in a while share a cold beer.
