I had one of those days this morning. I skipped going to the gym. I finally arose and had a little breakfast. The phone rang and the police chief asked if I would go to the hospital to be with a family whose son was being removed from life support. The family had no church affiliation. God used my day even when I felt like loafing. I identify with your poem here.

I never get tired of the dawning of a new day. It's rebirth and even for the creaturses they stop to salute the day. Take a look at the rooster and mockingbirds and frogs and scurrying of small feet. I love it all. This is a salute to living!
