Beauty is … © By Kathy Armijo Beauty is … The dawn of a new day Or, the luscious smell of fresh mowed hay Beauty is … The laughter of a child Starting with a giggle and going wild Beauty is … A single rose Standing proudly as it grows Beauty is … The crow’s feet that frame your eyes Reminding me that your life has been joyous Beauty is … Uncontrollable peace and happiness A life filled with wholeness Beauty is … A friend or partner whose built-in radar Helps you reach your star Beauty is … The warmth of your touch That loving feeling that I love so much Beauty is … Knowing who I am Hoping I don’t fail the ‘final’ exam Beauty is … In each of us, every day Think of it as your birthday Revel in life’s beauty It’s okay to be a bit daffy After all, beauty is … YOU!
