It’s Okay to Love ... © By Kathy Armijo It’s okay to love … There is incredible beauty to behold It warms your heart on nights that are cold It’s okay to love … Even though you feel empty And you are feeling immensely full of pity It’s okay to love … Can you hear your heart sing To the delightful melody of your heart strings It’s okay to love … When your heart is heavy And the tears break the levy It’s okay to love … When the sun is shining Who wants to be whining It’s okay to love … Just because For you feel His love from above It’s okay to love … When it is raining It brightens the sky and nourishes all that is living It’s okay to love … Because of the pleasure you feel Because … after all, to love is REAL!

Just like Jello commercial, there's always room for love.

Interesting aside: In my posted AD poem "A Lovely Rose," I assert that all we have in life is love.

What's the old saying? "Great minds think alike."

Dear Kathy, Your poem is great, it is profound, full of love. "it's okay to love", I will go one step further, it is a sin not to love, it is a human duty to love, it is a human necessity to love, it is great if you can let the love penetrate all your body and your brain until you are burned, it is the only way you can know what life is about.
