I'm writing Chapter 7 of Kingdom of Largo,
but am stuck on the title of the Royal Announcer.
What would be the title of the one who gives
a speech or makes an announcement on behalf of the King?
I have looked through the net,
but can't seem to find a title of that person.
Does anyone know the answer?

Thank you, Diana! After much thoughts, I have decided upon the title "Town Cier" since there were more than 3 people suggested to me, between Facebook and authorsden.
I noticed that too while searching, but I was wondering why they would call him the "Crier". It's such a strange title. I was hoping there'll be more.
So, say suppose an announcement was to be made by the king in front of the palace's courtyard, who would be the one who announce it for the king? It modern days we would call this a "Spokes Person", but what did they call this spoke person in those days?
I am afraid that I do not know for sure the answer to your question, Sandie. Town crier comes to mind as it was that person's responsibility to announce edicts and proclamations from the royal court.
