Casting Pearlescent Jewels

your intrinsic beauty 
breathes 
as a living sonnet
whispering diaphanously 
across the silent shadows
announcing the intricate presence 
of the treasuring moon
where your starry eyes deliver 
the kisses of new dreams
casting pearlescent jewels 
upon the sage of our souls
as your beauty dares 
the songs of our heart 
to dance...

Vickie, this poem whispers gently and romantically from the depths of your soul. For me, "your intrinsic beauty, breathes as a living sonnet" is a line to kill for, wish I could think of a line like that - I wish you love and peace my dear friend - Jon Michael

Oh, this is such a wonderful and suggestive piece of poetry, Vickie, that it held me spellbound. To be able to use the English language in such a beautiful way is superb. I almost felt as if I were listening to a very private conversation as I read this gem of a poem.
