Balms
Balms of Love’s Harmony
His skin ivory as painted snowfall
cold with a distilling presence
lost inside the ghost fumed muses
His eyes pale within an amber hue
golden rain drops staining each word
from the pursing of his scarlet lips
piercing thorny putrescent reasons
underlining his visions with shadows
the nightfall quenches his essence
knotted inside the garden of dreams
...as I too bath inside this slumberous darkness
I realize that I am also but a dreamer’s dream
Waning my own thoughts upon the bounty
Where I light beeswax candles in the garden
Drifting with the sweet sprigs of woody lilacs
Entrancing my soul into the moonspun visions
I begin dancing with the whispery muses of time
Embracing the sonata of their diaphanous essence
as I become upon the perfuming trellis of blooming honeysuckle
Surrendering my soul into these intimate balms of Love’s harmony
