Everyone my age thinks I wrote this about them. With enough determination, we can show those young bucks a few things yet. Of course, curing the aches and pains the next day may require prolonged lounging by the pool and beer drinking. You can hear this song on my website.

Crazy Old Man

Walking on the beach with a Georgia peach.
I see a crazy old man falling down in the sand.
He was up in a flash to make another smash.
In a volley ball game they were calling his name.

You crazy old man!
Do you think you can run the way the young men can?
You'd better go and lie down by the water...
And get a tan...you crazy old man
Get a tan...you crazy old man.

I was strollin' in the sun with my pretty little one.
When the crazy old man hit a big grand slam.
He was going insane at a baseball game.
When he ran around third he was flying like a bird.

You crazy old man!
Do you think you can run the way the young men can?
You'd better go and lie down by the water...
And get a tan...you crazy old man.
Get a tan...you crazy old man.

I had another beer at the Cocoa Beach Pier
When the crazy old man came along in a van
He was carried on in like the "Mighty Quinn"
They were calling his name because he won the BIG game

You crazy old man.
You played like a maniac only can.
Do you think you can come back tommorow...
and get a tan you crazy old man.
Come back tommorow...you crazy old man.
