My Heart If I place my heart into your hands, will you treasure the gift and understand? Will you see the present and the past, holding it firmly within your grasp? Will you keep it safe and warm, guarding it throughout our storms? Will you hold it forever more, never knowing what�s in store? Will I do the same for you? I will, if your heart is true . Those questions have no guarantee...for without risk it cannot be. When the heart is given all agree...it is prized the highest if it is free. Ah! love poems do this to me.

Wonderful write. The true test of love is to expose ourselves and trust the one we are handing our heart over to. It really doesn't matter if it is returned or not. It is a treasure just to be able to love.
