Sails of Ecstasy

I dreamed of you
upon the wakes,
drifting into ecstasy
under the twilight of your stars.

Feeling your passions rise
to the tide lured by the moon,
waves crashed wild
and free upon my bow.

Enrapture by the intensity
of it wrath
I sailed beyond
the horizon of my dreams.

Hmmmm... this is passionate. There is something about Spring/Summer that seems to bring it out in most of us...

Now this is why I will never be a good poet...I read "Sails of Ecstasy" and love it...without ever making the connection to the drug Ecstasy I suppose some people have better insight than I ever will...and that is why they are published and I am not. I cannot see the importance of using the F word in everything I write...and that lack of clarity probably makes my opinion...irrelevant.

A good poetic flow (FLOW!! HEY WATER FLOWS)
Nice rhythm to your words (RHYTHM!! HEY THE RHYTHM OF TIDES)
Tracey I just found out I cannot comment on this at all because I would be using
Over used words. Oh well have a nice day
