The Empty Room of Yesterday

The Empty Room of Yesterday

I walked out of this room
months ago without regrets,
today I walked back in
with hopes to forget.

Moments I spent
loving you,
somehow I now
feel like the fool.

The distant between us,
the lines you drew,
funny how my love
continued to grow for you.

Gazing out the window
of my empty room,
I saw the roses we planted
that did not bloom.

Closing my eyes
with a deep breath,
I buried the memory of you
beside the rest.

Once more I stand alone
within my walls,
silence echo’s fill the air
as my last tear drop falls.

don't be so sad because there is always some good to be found in everything.
For example i noticed the floors are made of a dry clay just get some water and then you can make me from the ground

"my last tear drop falls" this is so touching the whole piece.. How empty lost love leaves us and how it filled us before that tear fall.
