Eyes

Slender sighs sail the depths of sensation;
wind catches each part of me on the way.
Sunrise awakes love with pure devotion
that persuades a slight reverie in each day.

An old identity, cradled within my heart
is freely captive beneath my skin.
From eternity’s very start, this feeling
of endless affection, now and again.

I embrace life and weave reality in
breath-kissed nights - inscribed
in the nature of this landscape in my eyes

The radiance of the evening sky imbibes
a
scene that washes my thoughts in gentle tides;
interpretations of moon and wind rejoices
in autumn nights where truth resides

Beautiful Deborah! Balanced and airy in content and flow.

I've been noticing you've been posting older material. Are you alright?

I loved your rhyming scheme. I liked the premise; a bit nostalgic, a bit celestial. Very well done.

Through the Amazon by S. Oliver Eldridge

The drug called "The Shari" has been used for vision quests over many years. But, when all the rivers start drying up, the tribe must send a young hunter named Tomás on a much more important trip through the Amazon.
