Reading the recent poems of my AD friends, gave me the inspiration to write this one.

Poem Artwork

I'm sitting here and wondering,
what the new year will bring.
Should I get UP and dance?
Or maybe I will sing!!!

For it's a new year of hope,
and change will do us all good.
The past mistakes are now behind us;
learning from them as we should.

Out with old, and in with the new,
and put all your troubles to rest.
For God has given you this glorious life,
and we can all pass the test.

Of what is right and wrong,
and be kind to those we meet.
Becoming a Victor; NOT a victim,
and to get up on your feet.

Rejoice, be happy,
for it could always be worse.
To have never had this moment,
and to be riding in a hearse.

Making the most of each day,
be it sunny or raining outside.
For they both make things grow;
like the heart you have inside.

Dear Michael, How nice and inspiring is your poem. You are a lucky man, as you already passed the highest test in life. Many are in the waiting room and it is up to us and up to their will for them to also pass the test. God Bless you my friend and be well. Love Emile

Michael,
Outstanding verses!

Rejoice, be happy,
for it could always be worse.
To have never had this moment,
and to be riding in a hearse.

We are not promised another minute, we should make the most of the hours given to us. Your poem teaches us to be a VICTOR in life, your wisdom shines. Awesome work, Michael!!!

Many blessings,
~Linda
