Be careful on Hallows Eve

Poem Artwork

Unaware of presence, a disguise of temperant

Hollow be thy victim, cold as a winter sent

Unholy with a touch to remove the soul

With no fear of the light, it materializes insight

Air enflamed with no vision of fire

What conspires?

A need for souls

A knock in company is answered

Lack of foresight for the non-physic

An answer bringing terminal fright

Flauros returns once more into the night

Consumption of hate of the hated

Orders relayed to trick not to treat

Victims deaths a mystery

The colour the only link to see

Hysteria brings talks of disease

The sound of the knock

Brings more fear than Hallows Eve

The evil that bleeds, leaving no clue

Souls taken in amazement

Gaze back on earth in memory

Who hated us so?

A chill cools the wind when it blows

Caucasian agoraphobia settles rigamortis in snow

Death rate rises, bringing tears to there eyes

We have been forsaken the prayers said at night

Yet the one who conjured, smiles out of sight

If you listen close in the dark

Drops of tears spark to capture moonlight

The trick the knock

The treat your life

In spite of a few typos, a truly haunting piece.

Tasked by his Goddess to find, relocate, and then quicken, the last three Heart Tree gem-seeds, Vanx the bard, and his motley crew of adventurers, set out to do just that.

From the moment they entered the house, hinges creaked and strange and frightening sounds echoed through the halls.
