Media bias Is very selective. They want to be brutal Instead of perceptive.
Most scenes that they show Are packed with emotion It's mainly the gruesome That earns their devotion.
The harshest of comment The horrible scene Gets their attention Lets the shills preen.
Do they show scenes just once? No. That's absurd. They use constant replay When passing the word.
Is that what they teach them In news-writer school? Is horror attractive? Is violence cool?
If so, then I say With little remorse They need new instructors Teaching their course.

Bravo! I write about the media all the time and they all get emaiils from me about their decision to no longer report the news, but to make it themselves just to get ratings. There are so many outlets now they have become abusers of news. Especially CNN with its totally liberal agenda and blatant desire to destroy Bush. Whether you like him or not isn't the issue, it isn't him I'm concerned with, it's the way the media has taken in the general public with their seductive news manipulation. I hope you write more about it! Great poem!

LOL loved that last bit. This is very true-there is bias everywhere- too bad 99% of people don't realize it and swallow everything they hear whole. It is hard to be an independent,an individual, for some.
