~ Day Dream~

It was Labor Day weekend and the lake was packed. There were Jet Ski's and boats cruising with the music jamming. It was the last big party weekend of the summer. Mary was very excited because her dream house was finally completed. She could finally move out of the trailer that had become her home for the last two years. Her desire for men haunted her everyday and she was addicted. She had to have them to devour with intense passion.

Every night was a different story always ending up in her trailer. Mary was the only single lady on the lake and dressed very provocative leading all men to line up for some loving. There was a guy on the lake that Mary couldn’t reach. His name was Damon and everyone liked him. He was a good guy and didn’t want to be with someone that had been with half the lake. Mary was on a mission to get this guy but knew she had to change her ways.


Now that her dream house was completed she focused on herself. It was a beautiful sunny holiday weekend with barbeques and boating. The lake was very crowded so Mary took a walk behind the lake. On her walk she decided to take some back roads and maybe take in the scenery. The lake was packed on this holiday but the back roads were quiet.

The only thing Mary heard were the crickets singing to each other. She put her headset on and started jamming to a new song called: Sometime around Midnight. She loved the lyrics and passion in the singer’s voice. She started singing the words forgetting how loud her voice was to anyone around. She drifted into another world only seeing inside her head. As the music got louder the intensity of Mary’s run escalated into the infamous runners high. She was flying through the air without a care in the world until she landed on top of another jogger.

“What just happened?” Mary said.
“You didn’t see me and ran into me.”
“I am so sorry.”
“Can I make it up to you?”
“I would love a cup of coffee.”

The two new friends walked through the fields for almost an hour when Mary had a panic attach. Something didn’t feel right.

“Where are we?”

Her new friend just kept going. Mary decided since she had never been through the back roads that she should trust this new friend. She was always taught differently but he was so fricken cute she couldn’t resist a little more time with this gentlemen. All of a sudden a tunnel appeared.

“Come with me?”

Mary was in a daze and just followed her friend through the tunnel. When they got to the end and looked around they saw a different species.

“Where are we?” Mary said.

“You are in another world and time.” The future is here and the present is back through the tunnel on the other side.” All things are underground making the world safe from all the natural disasters seen on Earth.”

Mary began her voyage back through the tunnel to the lake. When she got there everything was the same. No one even noticed she was missing. The first person she raced to talk to was Damon. She knew he would have to see this place to believe it. The walk through the back roads took almost two hours and Mary was exhausted from making two trips in one day. She decided the time was now to make a move on Damon and kissed him. She was so nervous she missed his lips and kissed his chin instead.

How could she be so hot with all the moves but a clumsy idiot with the good one? She grabbed him close and could feel the outline of his fit body. She wanted him so bad and couldn’t wait any longer. She would do anything to capture this hunk and started kissing his neck making him squeal with delight. She couldn’t believe after a million years she was kissing the man of her dreams.

After they made out for awhile they continued on until they reached the end. When they looked around and saw this new world; a peace came over them. They were mesmerized by all the beautiful greenery and crystal clear waters all around them. There was fresh fruit on all the trees and a garden full of vegetables. They sat down and took in all the beauty around them. After resting for a bit they decided to head back and tell all there friends about the tunnel to the future.

They kept walking in circles looking for the tunnel that brought them there. It was gone and no where to be found. Damon and Mary looked at each other and said. “What do we do now?” They both had that look and started kissing until the sun went down. In the morning she awoke and her new puppy was licking her face. She was so bummed because she  was only day dreaming again.
