~Never Judge Another By The Cover~

No one should have a right to judge someone or something on what they see on the outside. The book is so much more complex on the inside and should be read first before an opinion can be made.

 My father always said; “If you don’t have anything nice to say then don’t say it!” Keep your judgments and opinions to yourself. The same goes for a book you have not read.

You will never know the story unless you open the pages and get into the mind of the writer. You can skip around from chapter to chapter not really taking it all in but, won’t get it in the end. I used to be impatient as a teenager and read books backwards from the end, to the middle, to maybe not even reading the first page.

I learned my lesson and now cherish every single page from start to finish. In order to get the book completely you have to treat it like your best friend. Worship everything about it. The way it feels. The smell of the ink on the pages and the sound you hear when you turn the page is what makes it a one of a kind.

No book is ever alike, unique differences on every page make them so special. The cover is just a small glimpse inside this complex story of love, hope, sadness, determination, and the desire to be wanted by others.

We are all supposed to be different; so why be judged because of that? Why does my son have to have a label of Autism? So others can judge because of the label given to him not the real person he is inside. They don’t know anything about him. We know who he is and he is happy with himself and that is all that matters. Anyone that has judged a book before hopefully learned from there mistakes and won’t do it again.

It is wrong to judge on any human being because they are different. Being different is what makes us all so special in our own unique way. 

“Treat others as you want to be treated.”

Remember what goes around always comes around. If you’re not kind, it will come back to you. You might think your acts of unkindness will go UN noticed. They will always come back to haunt you until you come clean. Be the best you can be and never try to hurt another by judging their cover.
