One summer in 1973 I was about 8 years old I was told by some people in my area were I Live that the County Fair Was coming to town. And that was the Highlight of the Whole summer before school started again in the Fall And my Mom wanted to take me to the fair and Have a Good time in doing so I had asked if I could bring a friend along but she said no so I said ok mom…and that was the end of that and off we went in search of the county Fair I was so Happy that I would get to go to the fair
witch I was asked By My mom if there were any Special Rides That I would like to go on…and I said The Fairest wheel Mom. That one is so fun I said it goes really far up into the sky…and you could look all over the fair ground and see all the people walking around.
Well We did Go on the Fairest Wheel but the man that took our tickets put us into our sets and then started it up…as were clumbing up higher and higher, when we reach the the top the man down on the ground stop the Fairest wheel and yelled up to us and said he was going to get something for dinner and be right back.
In the mean time me and my mom waited and waited for a veary long time we begin to wonder if or how we were going to get down. For some 40 to 60 minutes The Man Who had been running this ride had forgot us up on top and in the mist of all this the man got fired and his boss came to get us down. And told us if we want to come on another day that we could get a free ride or that my mom could get her money back. That was one of the most scary times I had ever in counter in my whole life.
I think I will Just enjoy that one if it was a good time or not.
