Greeting the Galatian church, Paul let it be known that he was  not called by men are of men.Meaning that he was not appointed by any one , neither did he study to be an apostle.

Instead he had a direct encounter  with the three in one, in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

By the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, Paul was knocked off his high horse, "so to speak" and was blinded.

"Remember," Paul was on his way to Damascus to prosecute Christians, and bring them back in chains to Jerusalem.

Do you ever wonder how he plan to bring them back?

 I am sure he did not have an empty carriage hitched to a horse; of course not!  they were coming back in shackles and chains, been dragged behind the horses. And of course those who could not make the journey would be left by the the side of the road, dead or dying.

But God had other plans. Instead of him leading them back, he Paul had to be lead  by his hand into Damascus.

Lesson learned is, Get off your high horse before you get knocked off.

 Now that Paul has been called by God, he has a different crowd, who he address as brethren; who send greetings to the Galatians church.

He greeted them by saying Grace and Peace from God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ; who gave himself for us that we may recieve the peace he provided for us through his shed blood on Calvary.

What a story of a changed life. Thank God for his Grace nd his Mercy.
