The day of the gentleman is over, if it ever existed.
I don't have a girl friend right now. That being said I know many of you ladies have seen the homepage pic and are not surprised by that statement at all!
Me either really, but the fact that I don' have anyone in my life is not for the lack of trying.
One might be inclined to think that the process of finding that special someone would be simple and virtually uncomplicated. There are literally millions and millions of people in the world, and to think that there are none compatible with me is at the very least unnerving and unsettling.
Not that I imagine myself to be a prize catch, but in retrospect Flav O' Flav has or had a TV show, Lil' Wayne has his devoted followers and neither of these guys are willing to massage a woman's feet, (which I will do) or are they?
Anyway this burden becomes more apparent in the quite hours of the morning or the night, BTW does it really matter which hour it is,all I know is it's about that time when I find myself looking for something interesting to watch on cable TV and I'm not even looking at the title of the movie or reading the reviews, I just scan the info button to see if it's rated R, there maybe some nudity in a R movie, which is all the entertainment I want right about then.
I've tried to look at my relationship issue as logically and clinically as possible, and I have gathered what information and data that I could without actually writing anything down,comparing sources,cross checking,verifying my conclusions with any corresponding research already done in this field, in other words I've ignored all valid facts and statistics, after all this is a pity party,so please don't confuse me with the facts. Let's just mope and be done with it.
But here's what I think I understood, and bear with me this is personally depressing. I noted that as I've said before there are a lot of people on the earth, which is where I would hope to find a partner, right here on earth. It's not that I wouldn't consider extraterrestrial life but my Mom and my brother hate when I tell them I'm talking to a woman from outer state, I don't think I would be invited to the next family reunion if I dated someone from another planet.
So, for now that's out of the question, and because I know the long distance charges would be astronomical. (Did you get the pun? Outer space, astronomical phone charges. Am I not husband material or what?)
OK here's another fact, I have eliminated a large part of the population by subtle recognized truths, such as the Asian culture. I eliminate half of them because theoretically that half would be men, and as with the interstellar life scenario, I'm not that desperate ... yet! As for the women, I think they as all women are amazing, but I can't get them to as a black man to say hi, not to mention engaged in conversation. I understand this, as it is so often the case tradition in their culture is said to be so important and the idea of introducing a black man as a love interest is not a pleasant prospect for her, unless of course it was Fav O Flav or Lil' Wayne, and are we really sure they're from this planet?.
