Another Grandchild or Two

    Wow, there I said it, another 2 grandsons coming into our lives, I am so excited. This will be 12 grandchildren and 1 Great granddaughter

I feel so lucky. I'll get to hold, snuggle, love and spoil them. That's what I do best. All those little Angels running around, returning their love with open arms sharing all the love their little hearts have tucked deep inside. 

    It's hard on us to watch them grow up and take on new challenges through life. They learn to roll over, and crawl, before we know it they are sitting up on their own, eating real food and laughing at you for making funny noises and funny faces at them.

    Then they are walking and running all over the place, then comes school, oh no they become little people, who learns to have a mind of their own. A B C's and 1 2 3's all their colours are taught and before you know it, they are teenagers with ideas of their own which doesn't include you cuddling anymore, no more sleepovers, they have chosen friends of their own, friends they will study with, play sports together and one day soon, when you are not ready they will gratuate and think of leaving home to further their education. You will think of the times you slipped them a few dollars or drove them to their school dance, what about their birthdays that you just had to be their for, you didn't want to miss a thing.

    You'll sit and think of the years gone by and wonder where they went and why so quickly. You'll pick up that special rock they gave you when they were three and you still treasure it through all those years. You look back at their baby picture and cry, gosh they are all so adorable. You remember looking at their little feet and wonder where they will lead them, their little fingers, what type of work will they do.

     Then comes the day they introduce you to their first love and you worry for the first time their heart will be broken, how will they deal with it, then you talk to them and try to make them realize this won;t be their last love for there will be many more.and one day they will come home with the one they can't seem to live without. They trust one another and will love each other till the end of time and they announce their engagement to you, oh how happy you will be for them and once again you look back through the years at those pictures that showed that new born baby and you'll cry all over again.

     Wedding plans are in the air, in a few months he/she will start a brand new life, buy a home and before you know it, the news comes that a child is on the way. How could this happen so quickly?

     All in a lifetime, that\s how and you never saw it on it's way. Now how many chapters are in your album because another one is about to start.

     Don't waiste those precious moments with your babies, time flys by way to fast and you'll turn around and they'll be of in a new life they started so many years ago.Get all those kisses and hugs in now, tuck them in each night with a story and I love you sweetie, don't forget to tell then how proud you are of them, because soon it will be too late.
