I used to have 23 cats before.Now, there are only 4 of them.The story began when my neighbour got married to the most notorious woman.
I had all those cats for almost 3 years and all of them were strays.They were vaccinated and became apart of my family.They just play, eat and sleep in my garden.They brought so much joy into my life.
This year, my neighbour married his college sweetheart.She was nice for one week.Then the problem started,every morning she will disturbed me and complained that my cats pooped in her garden.Her husband was scared of her by the way he acted.I knew my cats were not in their garden because they were caged from night until late morning.
One day she decided to set a rat-trap with fish in it.The smell of the fish was so strong and one of my cats felt for it.She threw my cat away without telling me.
I was very upset with her.By this time we're starting to have arguments about the cats.Then i've realized that my cat population starting to decrease.
It seemed that they moved away to other neighbourhood which is safer.
The neighbour still sets the rat-trap until today and she will be laughing away if she catch any cats.I believe in karma, if you do bad deeds, bad things will fall unto you.
We, as humans should treat all living creatures with love and respect.Some people said animals don't understand us, but you'll be surprise that they do. I knew my cats sensed danger if they still live with me and deep down I knew they love me by sacrificing their comfort as they don't want to cause trouble between me and the neighbour. I just pray that wherever they are, God will protect them and may they find good people.I will always be thinking of them and keep them close in my heart.

Your story brought tears to my eyes Azlina. As a cat lover myself I cannot abide such gratuitous cruelty to cats or any animals. They deserve our utmost respect as you do too, for being so devoted and caring to all those cats. You did you best for them and you will be rewarded. What goes around comes around
