This is about a dog, a witness, and a killer. Let it speak for itself.
He was a guard dog And very good at his job, But one night he met a man Who had killing on his mind. The man was an assassin With a contract to complete, But the dog also had a job Which he took very seriously. She was the only witness In a very important case, She was also a detective So she knew what danger was. The night before the trial The killer made his move, To take care of this witness So no one could tell the tale. He crept softly through an open window And slowly climbed the stairs, He pulled his gun and opened the door But a tornado met him inside. The dog had been quietly waiting With a growl deep in his throat, He threw himself at that killer And bore him through the rail. The witness drew her weapon and jumped up out of bed, She heard the screams and growls And went quickly down the stairs. The killer lay there on the floor, The dog standing over him, "Hold him, Tiger!" she commanded "While I report this on the phone." The killer went to prison, The witness testified, And now, this story is ended, I hope you, dear readers, are satisfied.
