Really enjoyed the characters, and the way you conveyed the joy of childhood. Wasn't sure I liked the ending at first - probably just because "you got me". Didn't see it coming! Great story.

I had the great opportunity to read the full manuscript back on ipublish, I loved it then and I still do. It's a great story, one that completely threw me at the end. It's the perfect example of how imaginations can run away with you and how you react to prejudice just because you've been around it, or heard it all your life. It's a powerful thing, and Tim has done a wonderful job displaying just that in this story! Great job!

this is an excellent story. i have read it before on ipublish. it was one i chose to rate to have my work appear (it never did). i loved it then and do now. it was a very compelling and nostalgic work.
