It was a dark, cold winter evening in New York City.  Upon leaving a seminar, several hundred attendees and I found a dusting of snow on the ground.   As he was surrounded by about ten people, I was unable to chat with the speaker outside the hall.  Then the wind kicked up, so I decided not to wait and commenced walking up to the avenue.

I hadn't gone very far when I felt this strong urge to go back.  I turned around and nearly walked into a nice little lady.  It was then that I met Sr. Elba CGS.

We were both cold and hungry, so off we trecked to a little Irish restaurant for a bite of dinner with incredible mashed potatoes. After a nice chat and being warmed up, we departed for home.  This was the start of a ten-year+ friendship!
