There are many sets of family, but only one can be held true

After serious contemplation your thoughts became your point of view

Your friends can be your family the ones you hang with everyday

Hell sometimes they're the only ones that'll listen to what you have to say

Family can be your co-workers the ones that help out in times of need

They might be the only ones that'll loan you money when you got children to feed

Family could be your pets that'll keep you company when others leave you alone

There are the ones that'll keep you company while you sit lonely by the phone

Family could be those soldiers that got your back no matter what happens

When the time comes aint nothing going to happen because they won't be slacking

Family could be those memories of people who've passed long ago

When the tears start falling for the names your were calling and nobody would show

Who's my real family? What is my name?

Who looks like me and acts the very same?

Where did I come from? Where did it all start?

The answers to those questions lies deep within my heart
