Can we feel it when someone is thinking of us?

             Can We Know When Someone is Thinking of Us?

Is it possible to know when someone is thinking of you?  Are there any kind of vibes that we pick up from someone especially that we are infatuated with or perhaps in love with? 

I recall a song by Amy Grant and Vince Gill a few years ago called House of Love, which was a hit I believe in 1993.  The words of that song say when something this strong gets hold of you the odds are 99 to 1 that he feels it to.  Is this possible?

I believe it is.  Can we will someone to think of us?  Again I do believe so.  I remember when in a relationship that my significant other would say, you’ve been on my mind all day and I just couldn’t shake it.  I then realized I had been feeling the same way on that particular day.

Of course most of us have had a love to absolutely haunt us.  In other words, we had this mystical force, that tremendous hold that arrested our consciousness and it seemed as if every waking hour our minds were busy with thoughts of that person and sometimes they even visited us in dreams.

And some of us have experienced being so in love and being unable to be in the presence of that person, that we asked them to think of us at a particular time and even listen to certain songs while we were doing this meditating. Well, we can feel some extremely strong vibes at these times. There is a dimension here that is worthy of much more exploration than can be made in this brief article.

Moving from the in love situations to the feelings we have sometimes when someone has died that we loved or were in love with, can be ever  as strong.  I believe we can feel some of the vibes just as strong and sometimes stronger when death has occurred.

I certainly have felt the presence of people in my family for periods after their deaths.   I believe their spirit is just as much alive and felt as ever.  They also can come to us in our dreams.  So do I believe that spirits of the dead can be in our presence? Definitely.

 For example, when my mom died, I felt her presence around me for months.  One particular place was the grocery store.  I had taken her to Piggly Wiggly many times over the months prior to her illness and death. Her spirit was with me for many months anytime I visited that store.

There’s a lot about death that we don’t know and won’t really have the answers until we make that trip.  But it sure is an interesting topic especially when we couple it with someone we love making the trip before us.  I believe whether they are dead or alive there is some sort of communication that does take place at times and I don’t believe it is imagined. 

So, yes, I believe we can feel when someone is thinking about us. It can be their spirit whether they are alive or not. But I think it is going to be a special  person that has played or are playing a meaningful part of our lives.
