I love life and I get a real kick out of observing people. Some people are simply a cheer joy to be with. Others drain the very lifeforce out of you , if you let them of course. Generally, I like to be around people that are positive. Sometimes, we simply do not have control over who we are around. The last three years have been very challenging for me. I worked in a high school with a very uncaring principal. I dreaded going to work, he only made himself available to the people he liked. I was not his favorite, therefore he pretty much avoided me .
I decided, since I needed a job, I was going to make the best of my unpleasant work environment. I concluded that it would be much better to forgive him than to continue to harbor ill feelings toward this man. I do believe we are put in situations for a reason, albeit we do not always understand why until much later. It is always so much easier to dwell on the negatives even though the positives is staring at us .
I am not trying to say that I am perfect and that I am superhuman. I am simply saying why make things worst when you have the power to lessen the effect of a negative situation. Little did I know that I was going to meet two very important individuals . The first person I met was a wonderful man who later illustrated my first children book. The second is a teacher from Barcelona Spain. I have learned so much from him. He edited the Spanish version of my book for me.
In conclusion, we may not understand why we encounter the situations we usually find ourselves in , but in the end things may work in your favor. I will be in a new school next year, and I have two new wonderful friends that I will forever be grateful for. Life is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!
