Sitting in the blazing sun, enjoying the beautiful ocean view I could not be happier. The waiter just delivered a second round of mango margaritas, Yum! All of a sudden, a sea of people gathered in one section of the beach. My heart began to race like a locomotive. Oh no, I thought to myself someone drowned.
I ran as fast as I could to go see what was going on. There before my eyes was this shark. I could not believe my eyes. According to the resort staff, this was the third time the same shark swam to shore after he was put back in the water. The third time the resort staff figured something was wrong and did not put it in the water. The shark later died.
This whole incident reminded me of how fragile life can be. Life can throw us some curb balls when we least expect it. What do you do? Do you just wallow in self-pity? or do you have the courage to keep on trying ? That shark was very persistent even though it later died. I thought about how suddenly the arrival of the shark changed my whole perspective for the day. I went from concentrating on having as many margaritas my system can handle to being bery pensive. I reflected on how blessed I am and how I should never , ever take anything for granted , for no one knows what the future will bring.
they cause alot of fright for people, but it is their
territory we swim in...it crushes me that they let it die.
I never had a mango margarita, it sounds like it would be very good!
I like mangos, mango salsa, mango salad so yes I bet they are good.
