My husband is my best friend. I am very lucky to have him in my life. This picture was taken in Cabo San Lucas while celebrating our 25th anniversary.
Oh! the joys of knowing you can depend on someone. That someone is my husband. He is truly my very best friend. I hear of so many horror stories of husbands cheating on their wifes. This is simply deplorable. How can that be? How do you make a vow and later break your promise. My heart goes out to Sandra Bullock and any woman whose husband cheated on them.
I believe before one can enjoy true happiness in a marriage, you must first learn how to become each other's best friend. I can talk to my husband about anything and everything. This type of open communication is very healthy, it leaves very little room for distrust. If something comes up, as they often do, you can always communicate with each other and work things out. My marriage is not 100% perfect, but I am able to work out the kinks through honest and open communication.

you are so correct that couples have to be
open with each other or they will fall to
the wayside. I myself believe in divorce
since I have been through it. There are some
behaviors which are not worth trying to resolve
& for me it is being hit by a man. They have
also cheated but that was forgivable.
--repeat offenders of the action however were not.
