It started out as an innocent attempt to find some quite music, just there lurking in the background, at least that was the plan.
I had twiddled the the radio dial in several directions, causing a most obnoxious load of twaddle, but somehow it got me hooked.
I forget how long it was that I half listened to this and that station, and how many stations it was that I listened too. All I became aware of was that I must have started picking up sub-liminal messages, for I recall that the frequency hiss and chatter started to make some sense.
Oh call me off the edge or what ever, I tell you there are forces out there, and they are filling in the gaps between stations, you mark my words. Its twiddle twaddle, I tell you I started to pick up messages, well thats what I led people to believe.
It was if I am to be honest the man next door in flat 6, he was going stark raving mad at my, scanning the airwaves. I admit I did linger a rather long time, two hours plus: and it was not subliminal messages, it was his banging on the wall, I think he was trying to send me an audible message.
Anyway yesterday I bought myself an auto scan radio, no more messages.
